{"id":265615,"date":"2024-10-19T17:43:10","date_gmt":"2024-10-19T17:43:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/bsi-20-30404919-dc\/"},"modified":"2024-10-25T13:40:53","modified_gmt":"2024-10-25T13:40:53","slug":"bsi-20-30404919-dc","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/bsi\/bsi-20-30404919-dc\/","title":{"rendered":"BSI 20\/30404919 DC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This document deals with all significant hazards, hazardous situations and events which are relevant to hand-held and automatic application equipment for organic liquid, powder or flock coating material, when used as intended and under the conditions foreseen by the manufacturer, including reasonably foreseeable misuse.<\/p>\n<p>Together with this standard, <span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">EN&nbsp;50050\u20111<\/span><\/span>, <span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">EN&nbsp;50050\u20112<\/span><\/span>, <span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">EN&nbsp;50050\u20113<\/span><\/span>, <span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">EN&nbsp;50059<\/span><\/span>, <span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">EN&nbsp;50176<\/span><\/span>, <span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">EN&nbsp;50177<\/span><\/span>, <span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">EN&nbsp;50223<\/span><\/span> or <span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">EN&nbsp;50348<\/span><\/span> give requirements for electrostatic application equipment.<\/p>\n<p>The specific significant risks related to the use of application equipment with foodstuffs and pharmaceutical products are not dealt with in this document.<\/p>\n<p>This document is not applicable to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>application equipment designed for operating pneumatic pressure above 15 bar;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>application equipment with rotating parts designed for operating pressures above 25 bar;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>non-atomising equipment (e.g. extruding equipment, dispenser);<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>fluidised bed powder coating machinery;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>spray guns covered by <span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">EN&nbsp;50580:2012+A1:2013<\/span><\/span>;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>supply hoses and ducts;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>high-pressure cleaner equipped with high pressure water jet machines according to <span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">EN&nbsp;1829\u20111:2010<\/span><\/span>;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>airbrushes for graphic and artistic works;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>machinery for the supply and circulation of coating materials under pressure according to <span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">EN&nbsp;12621<\/span><\/span>;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>water-jet cutters.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This document is not applicable to application equipment manufactured before the date of its publication.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><b>BS EN 1953.
