(1.1) This standard specifies the maximum dimensions of the film image area intended for projection and its relative position to the reference edge and the perforations of 8-mm type S motion-picture film, as specified in SMPTE 149. (1.2) This standard also specifies the projection frame rate for 8-mm type S motion-picture film.
