This British Standard specifies performance and marking requirements for lattice design cage enclosure dog muzzles for general use, for example when exercising a dog. This standard also makes recommendations for the fitting, use and care of dog muzzles and includes methods of test for performance requirements.
NOTE Correctly fitted lattice design cage enclosure dog muzzles allow a dog to open its mouth to pant and drink and allow vomit to drain from the muzzle; thus they should not adversely affect the welfare of the dog.
Specifies performance and marking requirements for lattice design cage enclosure muzzles and makes recommendations for fitting, use and care.
