Scope<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.1 This test method describes the procedure for determination of the solidification point of bisphenol A (4,4\u2032<\/span>-isopropylidene diphenol).<\/p>\n

1.2 The method is applicable for determination of the solidification point between 150 and 157\u00b0<\/span>C.<\/p>\n

1.3 In determining conformance of the test results using this method to applicable specifications, results shall be rounded off in accordance with the rounding-off method of Practice E 29.<\/p>\n

1.4 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use.
