This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the precast reinforced concrete products (hereafter referred to as "RC products").

However, this Standard shall not be applied to individual concrete products for buildings and the tactile ground surface indicators for blind persons which are specified in separate Japanese Industrial Standards.

This Standard shall not be applied to products which use the reinforcing steel, etc. for the purpose of securing safety in construction without intending to use the reinforced concrete structure.
