The equations are given for any fluid with a Prandtl number exceeding 0.7 and simplified equations are also given for the special case where the fluid is ambient air. In addition the radiative heat transfer from (or to) a body in an enclosure or close to a surface is considered, and view factor information is provided graphically for the body shapes considered. Also given is a table of emissivities of common surfaces.
