ESDU Perf RP 1/2 gives formulae derived using the method of ESDU PERF RP 1/0 for the incremental correction of flight measured rate of climb data to temperatures and weights differing from those applying at the time of test. Two temperature correction cases are considered: one above full throttle height and one below. For the latter and for weight correction, simple formulae give the increments in rate of climb, and graphs are provided to assist in their evaluation. Above full throttle height the measured pressure height is corrected for the temperature change rather than the rate of climb. A correction for wind gradient is also provided. A worked example illustrates the use of the method.
