{"id":259470,"date":"2024-10-19T17:10:49","date_gmt":"2024-10-19T17:10:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/bs-78141995\/"},"modified":"2024-10-25T12:51:08","modified_gmt":"2024-10-25T12:51:08","slug":"bs-78141995","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/bsi\/bs-78141995\/","title":{"rendered":"BS 7814:1995"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This British Standard specifies the materials, mechanical properties and marking requirements for bolts and screws incorporating either underhead locking or anti-rotation features when tested at an ambient temperature between 15 \u00b0C and 30 \u00b0C.<\/p>\n<p>It applies to bolts and screws:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>with ISO metric M2 to M20 threads conforming to BS 3643-2:1981;<\/li>\n<li>with mechanical properties 80, 90 or 100<sup>1)<\/sup> as appropriate;<\/li>\n<li>for use within the temperature range \u2013 50 \u00b0C to + 250 \u00b0C.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>As the decarburization of any underhead locking or anti-rotation feature will seriously impair its intended function, partial or complete decarburization as given in BS EN 20898-1:1992 does not apply to this standard.
